Greens are poison to Australia and the economy....
Labor faces a wipe-out in Tasmania:
The latest polling by ReachTEL, published in Hobart’s The Mercury last Saturday, suggests Labor potentially faces a wipeout.
The automated phone poll of 2285 has the Liberals stealing Bass, Braddon and Lyons, while Franklin—held by Labor minister Julie Collins—is too close to call. It has Wilkie holding Denison, despite a strong Labor campaign to wrest it back.
Correct conclusions are being drawn:
Tasmanian federal Labor MPs told The Australian they in large part blamed the party’s relationship with the Greens at the state and federal levels for the potential slide back into oblivion.
**bleep** Adams, a stalwart of the party who the latest polling suggests will fail to defend a margin of 12.3 per cent in rural Lyons, said the party should review its power-sharing deal with the Greens in the state…
“The Liberals ... are using it in their ads - ‘Green means Labor’ - and that sort of caper,” Mr Adams said. “The Greens have created an image in Tasmania that they oppose everything. And that’s the general feeling that 80 per cent of Tasmanians would have about the Greens.
“The majority of Tasmanians think that the Greens are a negative force to jobs, growth and economic activity."…
The Labor MP for the marginal seat of Braddon, Sid Sidebottom, who faces a strong challenge from Liberal Brett Whiteley, agreed that Labor was being damaged by its association with the Greens. “There are people who view the Greens as anti-development,” he said.
ALP's island fortress under Coalition siege
FACING its first electoral wipeout in Tasmania in almost 30 years - the potential loss of five crucial seats - Labor is redoubling its focus on the island state and moving to further distance itself from the Greens.

Hi Lakeland. Genuine question. Why would a person vote for the Greens? What's your genuine unbiased non Murdoch view?

the greens are the only party with a genuine climate agenda. simple. climate change is an issue with 70 per cent of the electorate .
the abc survey confirms this.
vote green in the senate.

I used to vote green for senate for that reason, but I was very disillusioned when they were not willing to compromise on the original emission trading scheme. If the emissions trading scheme got passed then, in whatever form, it would have saved us all lot of headaches. It could have been adjusted later on. That was the reason I did not vote green for senate at the last election and I am not sure I will this time.

whats to know ? its a huge problem that some prefer to ignore or scoff at. i'm in no mood to engage them.
if you are interested there is plenty of material, just look.

i agree with this to an extent. yes the greens pushed a little too hard which diluted the outcome and delayed it to the point it is still an issue now when it ought not to be. however, i'm not prepared to abandon them as they are far more genuine than anyone else in the house .. with labors left they are the only real hope we have of a decent outcome (one day)

The Greens in Ireland have been rubbed out totally, no seats at all. This is what needs to be done in Australia. The deceitful smiling assassin Milne is going to find they will be decimated in Sept. they are desperate.
The day the Greens are rubbed out of the political scene will be a great day. They have ruined & bankrupted Tasmania, it has taken many years for Tasmanians to wake up, they have been the butt of jokes for decades. Get rid of Labor too then they might face a future that gives their children a job.

so you are unaware of the failings of Gunns and the decline in demand for Gunns products ? the greens saved the state from being as bald as abbotts head for no gain to tasmanians.
