HAVE YOU VOTED ?

Went to the local council chambers and all done and dusted  (sighs of relief)

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

HAVE YOU VOTED ?

heads up:   if you're concerned about privacy, never vote postal, if the form is sent back to the candidate

We get our application forms through the local member's office but the actual voting papers come from the AEC and are returned to the AEC....nothing to do with the candidates.

One thing I do object to now is the fact that there is no outer envelope....the envelope that goes through the mail contains our full names and addresses, secret question and answer and signature.   An open invitation to identity theft and rigging of voting.  I always enclose my voting envelope in a plain envlope.

HAVE YOU VOTED ?

I voted yesterday and I did so because I don't have to queue up and they have chairs but this time there was a queue and no chairs.

I probably would have been better off if I waited until Saturday.

It is the first time I have not had to sign a declaration to vote early.

(Then I went to the nearby shopping centre and waited about 5 minutes to use the disabled toilet and finally out comes a perfectly fit and healthy looking man {yes, I know, don't judge a book by its cover} and did that toilet stink, it was so bad I decided to wait 10 minutes before going in.)
