Have you or anyone you know travelled to Bangkok to have their dental work done,?
Any good or bad experiences.

Not in Thailand but there is a professor in Denpasar, Bali who is well known for his dental work in particular crowns etc. He has done work on a friend of mine and this was done several years ago, fantastic and no problems. Cost wise 1/3 of the cost here and this cost included the air fares, accommodation and all other expenses. Time wise 10 days all up. If you would like further info I can give it to you privately.

Two of my many daughters work in dental practices. Both have many stories of the work needed to be done here, at significant expense, to correct shoddy holiday jobs. The standards of hygiene and quality/safety of consumables used is also questionable.
They are cheaper for a reason. I would also check that travel insurance covers any issues that may arise post-op - infections etc.

My daughter in law did in early November, she is going back in April for more. $700 there, for $3000 here. The clinic is modern, clean, exceptionally well staffed, equipped etc. She has had it checked out by her dentist here who was impressed with it.

My friend had hers done in Bangkok, they had to fix up a bad root channel she had done in NZ.
I also have a friend in Thailand that had a lot of teeth knocked out in a motor bike accident, all fixed and looking stunning from the pictures

A friend of the OH is trying to talk him into going with him so they both can have their teeth fixed.
The OH is talking about having teeth removed and getting dentures.
I would prefer him to have him teeth done here.
