Chugging along this morning listening to my new/old fave radio station WSFM where I'd switched to after Kyle and Jacki-O took over Mix and it turned into KIIS.

Who should come on but Vile Kyle and Jackie. AAARGH. What the...?

Madly scanned through the stations to check I had the right one...sure enough got the KIIS traffic report.

Scanned through again and whew...Jonesy and Amanda were back.

Then I realised they'd pulled the switcheroo for April Fools Day.

Found out later that KIIS listeners got a few segments of Jonesy and Amanda!

Some really funny ones there, love the testing of doorbells.  .  Usually on April 1 as my surname is that of an animal i get phone calls where they just make the sound

of the animal and then double up with laughter.   Just a bit of fun.  Also our local paper usually runs a front page full of nonsense but sometimes it's really believable.  I must watch out for it.  .

The NT News had a whole page of them this year.....some better than others but all quite funny. My favourite was the one about the police horse attacking a runaway croc....which even had pictures

There was one about it being illegal to be drunk during a cyclone, and a ban on selling alcohol once a cyclone watch has been announced  - the law comes into effect 1/4/15 I bet that one causes plenty of consternation

and one advising that a new law will give grey nomads in campervans right of way on the roads!

And Clive Palmer is buying a building in the cerntre of town with a view to building a 32 story hotel and entertainment com-plex with a theme park featuring anamatronic dinosaurs

Territorians will soon only be allowed to own one dog - and that must weigh under 6 kg (that'll upset plenty of people!)

and Nickelback will headline at Bassinthegrass after the Govt caved in to complaints that the one day festival catered too much to the young people and offered nothing for older Territorians.

I am realy dissapointed the big companies no longer run April fool adds in the paper,I used to love them and look foward to The day just to see them.

I remember being caught out a few years ago with an add for RED BULL SPRAY,it claimed each squirt  had like the caffine of 10 redbull or something ....I was appauled till I realised it was a joke  .
