so, there's no internal battle in the liberal party john ? i think you'll find there is. the elevation of abbott over turnbull was the first shot fired in the war, turnbull remains hopeful one suspects.. i hope he isnt as trusting as pete costello was that the deal he has will be honoured 🙂

Donna, you may not agree or like it but JOOLYA!! and KRUD are in a fatal death embrace that neither is able to disengage from.

If anyone is foolish enough to believe that a knife between the shoulder blades can be forgotten or forgiven they delude themselves.

Do you really think that a caucus divided down the middle on day can unite the next just because it is told to??

Now there are others feeling the cold steel in their backs, or at least they perceive that to be the case.

And what do you read into that Donna?

Do you think that Krud saying to hold off was because he was sticking to his word ?

Or was it that he didn't have a clear majority at that stage?

I am of the opinion that Crean was a well placed covert operator and was instructed to do what he did to defuse the leadership tilt by Krud.

It worked, but not as expected Krud was a bit more clever and withdrew and made Crean  and JOOLYA!! look a bit silly.

What was supposed to happen is Krud getting thrashed again.
