Has any one experienced their phone being disconnected once the NBN has been installed?

After contackting DODO I was told to use the ADSL for the phone and that my phone would be installed on th 2/12/15.  Well I am still waiting for this to happen and whats more my ADSL is no longer working.  I do not posess a Mobile phone.  I have sent e mails to Dodo but only get a number which is supposed to be answered in 2 days.

Obviously they can't phone me so I have told them to e mail me.........................Still Waiting!  This has been going on since early October and I am thoroughly fed up with Dodo.

You have no idea what Telstra have been up to here.

Since last May - to be NBN ready - I now have 8 case managers.

All phoning - all emailing.

I have one new router installed & another two in the boxes.

The NBN have been 3 times - last time installed the box outside the house.

Two sweet young things arrived to install the inside box.

Went away - couldn't be done - quote - the cable cannot go round corners.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh - last week was without a landline for 3 days.

Earlier - I was answering calls for another number - so many have threatened a tax invoice.

Over it.

The same here too, Helen.  And each team was putting the other team down.  The boxes put where it was convenient to them (what an eyesore)- never mind the two power points that have to be designated for the use.

One "technician" was from Melbourne (an out of work programmer) telling the "supervisor" what should be done.  And he was giving me advice about what I should do with my life??????????

And....the neighbour and I were getting each others phone calls.

Spoiler
The team that made the mistake, had to come back and charged NBN to fix up their own mistake.

So, to the OP, any chance of chatting with neighbours to see if they are getting your calls.  If so, could they phone Telstra?
