Has anyone lost a lost mobile in the western suburbs of Melbourne???

Hi everyone, not sure if this is an ideal place to post this but I want to get it out in the community as much as possible. So this applies to people who have lost a mobile in the western suburbs of Melbourne (Altona Meadows/Laverton area).. I have also posted the below message on Facebook & only just thought of here to post this on. I have checked the sim for the provider & they are closed, live chat is also busy..ARGH!!

My son has found a phone at the shops just before & I am trying to find the rightful owner.. They have a message on the phone that says...This phone has been lost. Please call me on this number...0425391746.. There is another part of the message that I have not included on here as the rightful owners will be able to tell me what the other part of the message is. I have tried several times to ring this number & it's saying that the number is incomplete or disconnected, so share it round for me pls guys..Thanks

Anyone know of someone who has lost a phone can PM me. I will be heading off to bed very soon so I will check for any messages & on here in the morning.Smiley Happy

Good on you for having the initiative to post here as well as other places.

I do hope you manage to re-unite the phone with the owner Smiley Happy

Can you see the numbers dialed history? Try calling one of those if you can.

I'd hand it in at your local police station i'm sure they can link it to an owner.

Try the last 4 digits of their number, 1234, 1111...most common numbers used (4 digits here, 6 in Australia?)

If so...the last 6 digits of their number, 123456, etc. Can't hurt. They're lucky an honest person found it! I hope you find the owner.

When I lost my phone last year, someone picked it up and handed it to the Telstra shop, they were able to break into it (I have a password) and call my husband as we share the same account, and I picked it up from the shop the next day. If you have time tomorrow, that's what I would do.

Good idea.

You said something to me somewhere? I forgot to respond and don't remember where it was. So how about a hello instead.
