almost entirely right -leaning loonies, and the preferences go to the LNP ..

Too busy trying to decide between these,...............have eliminated 2 already......
Sitting LNP MP Bert Van Manen is running for re-election.
The Labor Party was originally running Des Hardman, but he was replaced as Labor candidate on August 8 by former Queensland Premier Peter Beattie.
The Greens are running Sally Spain.
The Palmer United Party is running Blair Brewster.
The Citizens Electoral Council are running Jan Pukallus.
Rise Up Australia are running Jonathan Jennings.

I was about to say the same thing lakeland.
They go on and on about the Greens giving their preferences to Labor but at least the Greens are a legit party. But the Libs are happy to take on preferences from the likes of the Socialist Alliance. They have no morals.

A vote for Brewster is a vote for Van Manen, so eliminate him/her.
So, it depends on your philosophies as to your 1,2,3. ( I would go 6,1,2. - no surprise)

I have doubts about the Palmer United Party........and no way in this world would I endorse Rise Up Australia.

I have no idea of what the ballot paper looks like in my home electorate. But I will have a few days to do research once I receive it. At least I can fill it our in comfort with lunch and a cup of coffee.
I do know some are very long.

It's interesting that Palmer United seems to have a candidate in every single ballot. I wonder how much money he forked out to make that happen so quickly.
Does anyone know where their preferences are going?

I thought LNP was getting them. Could be wrong. Have my doubts about him, so doubt I will be voting for his party.

even the Pirate Party ?
