After seeing the boring and downright unimaginative pieces Moore has chosen for Sydney, our most important city, I wonder if her horizon ever lifted above the banal and her self interest to see any of this art.

Thanks so much for sharing the link. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the those statues.

I've seen this one in person(with the added "hat"). It's quite funny. It would be a shame if they raised it.

They are fantastic but some of those would have caused just as much controversy as the milk crate in their time.
Bring on the milk crate. I love it, but now it seems that it was not an original idea and another artist is claiming it is a copy of his work.

Most of them are great, didn't like a couple. Don't like the milk crate.
Public art can polarise people, there are always some that won't like them.

Did Clover choose the public artworks herself?
The newspaper said it was a group decision.

Wow there's some amazing work there! Love the mustangs, particularly like the one of Nelson Mandela and the Romanian one. Puts the artist to shame that came up with the milk crate idea.
The mediocre coming up with the mundane. Moore, she's an albatross around the neck of the people of NSW.
I can't wait until the people who own businesses in Sydney are allowed to vote on the next Mayoral election.
