Holiday traffic

Whilst out and about yesterday, I noticed the frantic pace being exhibited, by mostly P-platers - the Police had one pulled over.  I also noticed speed cameras strategically placed.

Last night a Roadside Breathalyzer operation underway.

And an advertising blitz on TV in regard to sleep-drunkeness.

Thank you Police and authorities for trying to eliminate a danger element and reminders before the real Holiday traffic starts to flow.

Don't ignore signs and indicators.Smiley LOL

Well I'm loving that it's school holidays and much less traffic on the roads. Driving to work is a breeze.

In this country one is issued a provisional license that has conditions that a full license doesn't

L plate, is a learner driver
P plate is a provisional driver
No plate is a full license driver

One starts on an L plate then graduates to a P plate. Depending on which state one is in this is for a varying length of time then moves on to a full license. People that have lost their license due to drink driving may be reinstated on a provisional license as one of the conditions of such is a zero blood alcohol level

An L plate driver is only as bad as the parent next to them. I had one pass me at 120kph the other day. Another person that will be paying revenue to the Victorian government that I never do
