Next thing, they'll be putting Christmas trees up right after Easter.

It is market driven.
If people did want/buy them then they wouldnt be out now.
I remember as a child crumpets were only available in winter.

Saw several Easter eggs and Hot X buns in Coles this morning (marked as hot x buns, not fruit buns)

They have been in the shops since Boxing Day.
We actually had a pack but the grandkids ate them all.
They just like fruit buns, they don't have to be Hot X buns as such, though these were.

i like Hot X Buns, and if i could by the buns without the cross all year round i would
ive tried the buns at woolies that dont have the X during the year but they are not the same.
sell the buns all year round by all means but just do the cross for easter, and by easter i mean maybe 4 weeks prior.
is that too much to ask, i'm not religous at all but Hot X Buns are traditionally for easter, a religous time.

Did they choose you?
I hope they were sourced ethically.

I saw a guy walk out of Coles with hot cross buns a couple of days ago.
It's all year round now isn't it? (the buns).
