That's not getting a 1Gb connection to the www

And just a bit of further education for those who say the fast internet is not possible over wireless.
I will make a statement and say that over 50Mbps over wireless is not only possible bit most people are using it right now.
Anyone care to dispute that?

I was illustrating that 1Gbps is possible over copper, to dispell the fears of most believing that it is copper that slows things down, when it is not
In fact the propagation speed in fibre and copper ais almost identicle :0

You seem like an aggressive person who is looking for an argument.
I'll leave you to your own little fantasy land thanks.

One last point.
IGb over copper is only possible over a very short distance compared to optical fibre.

Not at all, I welcome challenges to what i state and it is right tghat people should question the validity of what i say

when you say short distance, what do you believe to be a short distance?

What are your reasons for defending Copper over Optic Fiber?
Is it because you are old and don't care about the future?
Is it because Optic Fiber costs too much?
Is it because you don't believe it is faster?
Is it because you don't believe high speed is necessary?
Is it because you have your head in the sand?
Or is it simply because you vote LNP?
Are there any Libs willing to speak out against it?

I will speak against the NBN as put forward in its presenrt state.
1. Age has nothing to do with it and yes I do care about the future
2. The way that the NBN was forced on everyone, even on the casual user is not nuch short of criminal. It was "sold" under false pretences by saying every household would be connected at 100Mbps, which has not been achieved anywhere in the world. Yes optic fibre to the premises is a total waste of taxpayers taxes. The average household will not utilise it but it has been forced on them.
No cost benefit was ever done and to top it off perfecly good alternative internet has been legislated against and NBN Co. is close to having a monopoly on internet. Not a healthy situation to be in for the consumers to have no other options
3. I belive it has the potential to be faster but that speed will not be realised until every country off shore is also operating at that 100Mbps which is many many decades into the future.
4. 100 Mbps is not and won't be required for the average household.
5. My head is clear and not inserted anywhere unlike some who have been conned into believing, without any knowledge on the supject, that it is essential infrastructure.
6. In its present form I would speak against it even if God suggested it.
7. The NBN or any other internet is only as fast as the slowest link in the chain from source to destination and since most content originates off shore we are locked in the the rest of the world, like it or not
