I called for a trademan yesterday to fix my frount door and was told that he would there a 4pm.
When he arrived the first thing he said was sorry I am late. It was 4.08 pm.
Me I thought that was on time and I was very pleased.

he sounds like like a keeper.... there is nothing worse than waiting around all day for them to show up, and even worse when they don't turn up on the arranged day at all

I agree as I also have had to wait hours after the the appointment time for tradesman to arrive so this is why I was surprised that he apologized about a few minutes.

Re: How Late is Late
Depends on what you are late for ?
Sometimes things that come late (or not at all) can be quite 'life changing'
You can't please all the people all the time, so now I just please myself
