Got ready early this morning so i could drop the kids at school and head to Westfield before it got too hot.
Got a great park at the shops.
Got everything done that i needed to and when i get back to my car, some ratbag has parked in a non car spot right behind me, blocking me in.
I rummage through my bag looking for a pen to write down her licence plate so i can report her to westfield. No pen.
I look for my phone, find it. Phone is not charged (nothing unusual for me).
So i stand and wait and wait and wait and just as im about to leave and go find center management, this lady runs to the car yelling "Sorry Sorry".
I say "You are a rude, inconsiderate *female dog*. I was just about to go report you. This is not a car park and your selfishness has kept me waiting here with my baby."
She says "I was only 5 minutes".
I say "Actually, it has been 9 minutes since i got here, so who knows how long you were before that".
She then gets in the car and drives off.
X-( some people are so inconsiderate and rude.
And there were plenty of other car spaces left that she could have parked in
it's ok, im not going to report her now, the day after.
"I would find it very annoying to be blocked in at car park, especially in the heat that Adelaide has been experiencing. They are stuffy and get very hot, and not everyone may have car aircon where they just could sit in the car, turn the engine on and run the aircon for a bit."
I didnt know how long she was going to be so i tossed on whether to get bub out of his stroller, put it and him in the car, sit in the car for a while and then, if she took ages to return, get stroller and bub back out the car and go inside and report her.
I also thought, what if i go all the way back in, up to centre management (which was down the other end from where i was and up 4 floors in a lift) and then in that time, she goes.
So i decided, i would wait beside the car.
I was prepared to wait 10 minutes and then stop a passerby and ask for a pen to note the licence plate and head back inside to report her.
our westfield doesnt have paid parking yet but it does have 90 minute parking areas. I mistakingly parked in a 90 min section once for a bit longer and i got a parking ticket from the council
I find it disheartening that more and more people seem to be inconsiderate, thoughtless and lacking in respect towards others.
IMO, some subjects at schools are dated and should be replaced with -
1. Health/Nutrition
2. Communication ( Including courtesy, manners and how to diffuse confrontations)
