Got ready early this morning so i could drop the kids at school and head to Westfield before it got too hot.
Got a great park at the shops.
Got everything done that i needed to and when i get back to my car, some ratbag has parked in a non car spot right behind me, blocking me in.
I rummage through my bag looking for a pen to write down her licence plate so i can report her to westfield. No pen.
I look for my phone, find it. Phone is not charged (nothing unusual for me).
So i stand and wait and wait and wait and just as im about to leave and go find center management, this lady runs to the car yelling "Sorry Sorry".
I say "You are a rude, inconsiderate *female dog*. I was just about to go report you. This is not a car park and your selfishness has kept me waiting here with my baby."
She says "I was only 5 minutes".
I say "Actually, it has been 9 minutes since i got here, so who knows how long you were before that".
She then gets in the car and drives off.
X-( some people are so inconsiderate and rude.
And there were plenty of other car spaces left that she could have parked in

"Especially when she has been posting here for years and everyone should know her as a level thinking, nice person."
Awww, thanks love ๐
Ok, if it had been a big tattooed bikie, i would of had a different tone but i still would of said that i thought they were being inconsiderate.
If it had been an elderly person, i would not of used the naughty word, but i would have still told them that what they did was inconsiderate and selfish, esp when there are many, many elderly parks they could use.
But, this wasnt a biker or an elderly person. It was a woman, probably in her late 20's of able body, as she was in gym clothes, and was coming down the stairs in the carpark and running to her car quite fast.
I chose my language and terms based on what she looked and came across as to me, an young woman who thought her time was more important than mine and thought she would get away with what she did.
twinkle- I am a better person because i would never, ever block someone in a carpark

where was the rage?
I wasnt raged. She certainly wasnt raged. There was no raging.
"she could have left a note on Amy's car saying she would only be a few mins if for some reason she felt she had no other choice. At least Amy would have been aware that the person is not far and would be back shortly."
But she had other choices. There were at least 8 empty spots within 5 metres.
Anyway, as i said, i wouldnt do it any differently if i had my time over.
But, one lesson i did learn is to make sure my phone is charged and put a pen in the car

i havent read the whole thread so before I do, is it really worth reading all of it?

OK so you weren't in a rage, perhaps not the right choice of word but you were very annoyed or else you wouldn't have sworn at her. What I am trying to say is that these situations can blow out into a "rage" situation depending on how it is handled. I'm not saying you shouldn't have said anything. I would have tackled it differently but still let her know she was rude and inconsiderate.
