How RUDE

Got ready early this morning so i could drop the kids at school and head to Westfield before it got too hot.

Got a great park at the shops.

Got everything done that i needed to and when i get back to my car, some ratbag has parked in a non car spot right behind me, blocking me in.

I rummage through my bag looking for a pen to write down her licence plate so i can report her to westfield. No pen.

I look for my phone, find it. Phone is not charged (nothing unusual for me).

So i stand and wait and wait and wait and just as im about to leave and go find center management, this lady runs to the car yelling "Sorry Sorry".
I say "You are a rude, inconsiderate *female dog*. I was just about to go report you. This is not a car park and your selfishness has kept me waiting here with my baby."

She says "I was only 5 minutes".

I say "Actually, it has been 9 minutes since i got here, so who knows how long you were before that".

She then gets in the car and drives off.
X-(  some people are so inconsiderate and rude.

And there were plenty of other car spaces left that she could have parked in

Luckily we had a large tree cut down from our front yard last week. It was a HUGE pine tree and the electricity company had to keep getting it cut back because the lines were always getting knocked by it. They pretty much cut away the front half of the tree. If it hadn't been totally cut down last week I have NO DOUBT at all the it would have blown down...it was top heavy and already leaning towards our bedroom. And the RAIN OMGosh, I thought our bedroom windows were going to smash in just from the rain, not so much the wind.
We have an aviary under our carport and it is about 8ft wide, the far wall of it was wet, the rain came in that far under the carport. Luckily we didn't have birds in it.

Ouch ! Hope it heals quickly. Seems foot problems abound at the moment. I lost and argument with 2kgs of frozen mince last Sunday...one toe has two fractures and a dislocation.

my comiserations.  The worst thing for me is that I can only stand for about 15mins before it really gets painful, so being a checkout chook is a problem.  No walking long distances either, so no going to those massive shopping centres

It's strange that supermarkets don't supply seats for checkout operators. My Coles has had a couple of staff that had problems.  I think it must be something to do with lifting and moving heavy bags because you can't do that sitting down without causing problems for your back.

An answer could be that staff must be standing up while serving but can sit down between customers if things are quiet.

Aldi checkout operators sit down. They don't pack bags though. The customer packs there own stuff.

Well that could be it Am3.  Sitting down could cause problems.

At least as far as insurance problems go if a staff member injured themselves at work.  For packing and moving the bags it would be easier to injure yourself sitting down.

There has been at least one partial pic of her (without her face/head showing). Maybe that's what Trish remembers?

Thats what I would of done, stood up to serve customers and then sit in between them.  Oh well its thier loss, they will now have fill all those shifts, and there are already 3 staff members on holidays or going on them soon
