J, living in WA, winnd should be no stranger to you.

 

By the way the climate has always changed and always will, it is a habit of millions of years 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Yes, major mess.

 

It wasn't/ isn't a wind 'you would be used to'. How often do workers in Syd get sent home at 2.30pm because of adverse weather? Not usual.

 

There is a scary pic of a two storey house that got split in two and mangled when a big tree fell on it at 3am. Amazingly the couple inside (were asleep at the time) got out without any serious injuries. That was near Newcastle. They had just finished renovating the house too.
