How would you feel if you were escaping a war torn country and then end up on a plane that a man threatened to blow it up?
I would be terrified.
I am all for people protesting and demanding better treatment (although the people on Naru really have to blame themselves after they burnt down their accommodation and they have to stay in tents) but to make a bomb threat on a plane is totally unacceptable.
..... I also think we need faster processing. They are here now and need to be dealt with.
But I hope that that man does not get approved. He is not the sort of person I want to live in this country. If he does not get what he wants he thinks it is ok to go to extremist behaviour.
And also DH it was the Labor governemnt that set up this mess... it is up to the LNP to fix it.

@izabsmiling wrote:shame on everyone who made these desperate people scapegoats be it for political reasons or any reason.
Those who rejoiced and blamed Rudd and Gillard and said that they had blood on their hands when lives were lost, those who shouted out loud messages like multiculturalism is ruining this once great democratic country of ours (do we go back hundreds of years?) , that our economy is in dire straights and these people are to blame, those who grabbed any headline they could to instill fear and hatred and promote a stereotypical Asylum seeker/ terrorist connection.
All those who encouraged a shift in attitude and a false emergency ...which became an election issue and indeed winner
we can always scrap your much loved NDIS and take more refugees

Unfortunately this Government isn't fixing anything, they are ruining our relationship with Indonesia, let's hope they can fix it 🙂
Another unfounded rumour bordering on an out an out LIE.. Or can you offer some actual proof of this......
If anything this govt has a far stonger relationship with Indonesia than Megaphone diplomacy labor did as like the Indonesia govt they dont run to the press every 10 minutes like LOOK AT MEEEEEEE Labor did.....
I do suggest that you as you are so concerned with Indonesia and their people and lifestyle etc that a move there should be considered by you..... You may be far happier living the life there and that way you wont have to worry about bad Australia
