I had to give a cynical chuckle at one line. It said his car was seen passing through Diggers rest but they could not prove who was driving it.
Yes they can (almost). The man himself claims he took it out to Diggers Rest to test a faulty fuel gauge.
I google mapped it as I don't know that side of Melb that well. It's a direct route from his home to Diggers Rest & onto Mt Macedon where her body was found a few months later. It's a 45 min trip there and surprise, surprise, he has 100 minutes unaccounted for on the day she disappeared.
No wonder police named him as a suspect!!
