...but boy I reckon I would have serious trouble finding 2 jobs to apply for EVERY day.
So how the heck is someone young, inexperienced, poorly educated, mildly intellectually incapacitated, ill, busy with family committments, old, dispirited, depressed, demotivated - need i go on? - going to maintain 2 applications day after day after day after day?
Seriously unrealistic and unfair.

The old way didn't work either, not in small towns for someone without a license.
Politicans (all of them) live in a bubble where everything is possible, the odds stacked against you mean nothing.
And I'd be happy with drug testing for the dole as a requirement.

I just think people would just apply for every thing whether they're even remotely qualified or suitable for the job.

yes that's exactly what business groups are saying. It's an ill thought out, probably not thought about at all really - just an attack on the unemployed and a convenient way of palming off this mobs job destroying actions so far - its punishment for people out of work, plainly speaking.

Yeah, just fake it because there isn't anything around they could get due to lack of drivers license, other qualifications. But it has always been this way to an extent, just much more expected now. So same old.
