I am so sad....

I just saw an ad with Antonio Banderas.  A chewing gum add..

He looked awful, thin flat hair (you would think they could have done something with it), just icky overall.

I used to adore him :_|

There is a little behind the scenes video on this news page and I think he still looks pretty darn good!

I'll still watch Spy Kids, and I've given up any pretext of it being for the kids. :^O  And don't get me started on Zorro.......

But yes, I did think he had aged a little more than I thought he would.  Drop dead gorgeous men usually stay that way, just get a little craggier.

I think that's what is part of the shock Lady Em, is we are used to seeing great looking guys only look better as they age.

this is only a lighthearted thread started when I was so surprised to see what he looked like these days, I am not really devastated.......  Well maybe a smidgen....  Maybe it is a result of living with Melanie all these years.

It is amazing to watch as famous people age....

it is really hard to tell their aging is helped along with plastic surgery which makes us mortels feel shocking...  either by the way we look in horror at the bad job or look and wonder why they never get old...

I think it shocks us when we see a person age in Hollywood and they actually look naturally old.. I don't think we know what that looks like anymore.

Wow, great point Catmad, reckon that's the answer.

so many of the guys admit to Botox these days.

What astonishes me, is when you see ones that have obviously had plastic surgery, and it looks bad.  Makes me wonder how that could happen, that with all the money many of them have, you would think they would go to the best surgeons, to have top outcomes.

looking at Lindsay lohan, her face looks so fake now and she is only mid 20,s.  surely if she went to a good one they would not let that happen?  Or maybe the doctors themselves are so desensitised to plastic surgery they are oblivious.

my mum had a facelift, but it looks so natural, in fact I did not pick it tell so told me, then I could notice the difference. It only enhanced her appearance, did not change it.
