Mr Shorten on the current Galah's
Below is from the SMH, 4th of Feb.
He said the decision to rebuff SPC was typical of a government that knew the price of everything but the value of nothing.
''Joe Hockey and [Industrial Relations Minister] Eric Abetz think that manual labour is a Spanish tennis star,'' he said in Shepparton. ''They have never seen a blue collar job they would ever fight for.
''What is the difference between a Cadbury worker in Hobart and a cannery worker in Shepparton? I'll tell you the difference, Shepparton is a safe [Liberal] seat.
''Here is a message to the Abbott government, stop scapegoating people on $60,000 and $70,000 when you are on a quarter of a million.
''What a cheeky bunch they are.''

Will Bill last? only at the behest of the unions so nothing's changed for Labor & all that ever has to be regurgitated is the border failures of Labor & Bill will sink along with his unfortunate party.
mmmmmmmmmmm of course it will be much better when everything has been sold off to the highest bidder, jobs were a thing of the past, australian manufacturing is all but a memory, the disadvantaged are out on the street - but at least "our borders are protected" - so all will be well.
Highest bidder?
It seems more like to the favoured bidder.

I think it's interesting that he said $60-70,000 when Sharman Stone had said most earn about $45-50,000.
Most would be earning a lot less than $60,000.
I also didn't take from the quoted passage that he was specifically talking about any one group of blue collar workers but was generalising - but maybe I am not nick picking enough.

I thought we were supposed to be the "clever country".
What's the difference between a worker at Cadbury's and a worker at Shepparton?
You have a more pleasurable moment when you are the "taste tester" at Cadbury's.

That's what she said.
If that's the best they have, I guess it's time labs warmed to him, after nearly 6 months lol.

Although Labradors are possibly nice dogs I don't think it's nice to call other posters Labs.

I have no idea what the labradors are thinking, I would like to know what labradors think about a lot of things - they are considered to be a quite intelligent breed.
