Mr Shorten on the current Galah's

Below is from the SMH, 4th of Feb.

He said the decision to rebuff SPC was typical of a government that knew the price of everything but the value of nothing.

''Here is a message to the Abbott government, stop scapegoating people on $60,000 and $70,000 when you are on a quarter of a million.

''What a cheeky bunch they are.''

In the old days the showbags were free.  They were to advertise the company's products and to show what they have to offer.  

I think that Bill Shorten is a pretty good showbag then because he does seem to have a lot to offer

But will he be free, or is he only a free trial then you find you have signed up to an expensive subscription?



Last spring racing season, little bags were handed out at Flinders St station in Melbourne for free to racegoers...they had sunscreen, lip gloss, hand cream, so some useful things for the day.

Those were nice 🙂

oh yes the showbags, not politicians then - your comment about people getting what they deserve is widely used and in my experience rarely in a good way - it is not something I would post, say or even think in any context. When i read your post that is what i thought about - then i thought about the deserving and the undeserving poor (disgusting concept). I suppose that is why I don't use the term and find it offensive (my opinion, my post.)
