I bought the Daily Telegraph today for the first time in decades. My oh my!

Pretty much every page in the first half of the paper is filled with an anti Rudd hysteria.

From the major journalistic pieces, opinions pieces, editorial pieces, letters and even down to the smallest details like the quote section. And all of it is based on pretty much nothing - rubbish articles like "Rudd has a bulter to carry around a cushion for him to use when he needs to sit down" or pointing out the increase in asylum seekers in the last couple of weeks since he was returned to PM as if he has personally set down the welcome mat only in the past fortnight

Aside from sport and comics the paper is riddled with propaganda and fear. I didn't realise it was quite as bad as this. It's not just a little bit of bias but out and out slaughter.

No wonder the masses are being fooled.

"No wonder the masses are being fooled."

Or are you calling them "fools" INAM?

I am a little more polite and regard 80% as Myopians  with a sunglass, both flocks hungry for greener pastures and prepared to bleat loudly for some, but the "hill" is too high!

Let's hope that it will be rolled-out in time to show us Halley's Comet on its next pass. In the meantime now that the "MD" and CEO  have bid us farewell,  who will take over the national entertainment network?

No I meant exactly what I wrote.

If this is the garbage that is written page after page, day after day and if this paper is the only rag they read, then of course they are going to think it is the truth and that this the state of the country and politics. So yes they are being fooled.

The Australian is another Murdoch paper but at least it has the decency to pretend to present an unbiased paper. The Telegraph is in a league of it's own.

I have to say I was really taken aback by it this morning. I didn't realise the propaganda was so unashamedly biased.
