Oh that's so incredibly sad,....for everyone involved.  Including the Mother

And it shows that those at rock bottom and crisis point needing help, cant or wont ask for it.

Even from family and friends. Tragic for all.

It's so easy nowadays not to do anything in case you are intruding and as said, people don't ask for help. No one wants to admit they can't cope.

A truly heartbreaking story.... 

PND is such an insidious thing... it gets men and women equally... 

I hope she and her family find peace and health... and that the rest of their children are not too damaged by this tragedy.

If only the babies could have gone to someone who could have cared for them. Maybe the family would have fallen apart anyway but it sounds like having unplanned twins were the beginning of the end. My own mother coped wonderfully with 3 children but lost the plot when numbers 4 and 5 came along, although not with these tragic consequences and no one really wanted to know, but maybe too many people were having their own crises.
