I wasn't necessarily referring to people on here, it was more a general comment from observations of the world.

No, you just have double standards. Happy to take the mickey out of Abbott et al but you don't like it happening when it's Gillard.
If someone trips over, I help them up and you have a joke about it, like "next time send us a postcard".
Most laugh, as Julia did.

Q:Any ideas how this was made up, or the source of this information or was it just a stab in the dark?
A: Well publicized at the time. Hearsay ATM, as I don't have the facts and figures to hand - it was after all, well over 20 years ago now. I'll do some digging to see what I can find. I'll get back to you.
Any possible chance in my life time that you'll get back to me with this information or can I assume that it is hot air ?
Feel free to search it for yourself, as well, if you'd like! I don't have a monopoly on google - nor time to respond to every niggling query on the internet.. Or is it that you don't like any slander against your preferred political party?
Either way, take it as you see fit. I really don't care one way or the other.

So that is an unfounded rumour then? We can disregard it.

We are more than happy, we are more than happy, we are more than happy.......I..I..I don't think its how long it takes to say something.
How did that man get to be Prime Minister of any country?
His lack of oratory skill, his awkward repetitiveness while searching for the right word, and his strange penguin walk.....

Tony Abbott is the current PM, JG was TWO PM's ago... is the media today, this week, next week... full of articles about Julia Gillard and her policies?
That video clip of JG tripping has been posted here in other threads recently... to laugh and scoff at her.
I imagine most people would quickly offer to help someone near them if they saw them trip/fall. Have a joke, yes, if they aren't seriously hurt ... have a good trip?!
However, that is not the reason why others are posting that video clip.
