I just had dinner with Tony Abbott

With a small group of 28 others...

It was awesome.... Cat Happy

He is an amazing man with a great heart.... great ideas.... great sense of humour....

I liked him before but am now very impressed.

It was a privilege to be there and a night I will remember for a long time.

Sounds wonderful cat, ignore the bitter comments, some people just can't be nice no matter what.

Politicians are human too, I've met many in my life. One of the worst I ever had the misfortune of encountering was Hawke when he was a drunk & the pedo Collins.  Richo was an amazing raconteur & Keating was charming.

I met McMahon & Fraser, Peacock was also a charmer. Scott Morrison is totally on his game & a very approachable person & very courteous.

Glad you had a great night.

Thanks.. yep I am ignoring the negative comments..

I am not posting to please them...

I am so impressed with Tony.... not only did he listen to everyone but he asked us questions and really tried to understand our wishes for a new government.

He is so much better looking in person... and at the end of the evening when I went to get a photo with him he even remembered what I talked about and wished my son luck on his small business...

A lot of things were talked about and even the difficulty in getting the woman vote... I think if women met him in real life they would decide to vote for him... (not all women but a lot more)

I hope he enjoys his visit to Bundaberg. I am very pleased he asked about the floods and recovery..... I hope he can finally get the Rudd government to sign off of the release of the money that we are entitled too. All it takes is one signature and we can get onto repairing a lot more of our infrastructure.

I wonder if Kevin Rudd will come here to see the aftermath of the floods that swamped 2000 homes and many businesses before the election??? I would like to aks him the same questions I asked Tony Abbott and see who has the better replies.

Cats Back , we aren't all going to meet him and I don't see the need....personally I would prefer to hear about his policies  and to put himself out there ...he seems to be holding back.
