I'm Shocked At What The ABC Dishes Up...

Last night's finale of Ja'mie was disappointing, and the language and the some of the scenes were gross.

I left the TV after that but was sitting nearby at the computer when "Shock Horror Aunty" came on. Some of the language in that was so disgusting I made OH change the channel.

Is that what's being served up as entertainment these days?

I always thought the ABC was more conservative.

I have no problem with the ABC/SBS dishing up a bit of lurid language ... however I presume they have to comply with the code of conduct regarding screening timings, pre-show on-screen warnings etc. ?  

I watched a bit of "Shock Horror Aunty", apart from the observation that it was a bit lame, I wasn't greatly offended.

I like the ABC, but I didn't watch those shows you mentioned Icy they're not really my thing.

They have some good murder mystery shows that I've enjoyed and I like most of their news and documentary programs as well

I love that show jaime but the language really does ruin it for me, not so much the f word but the other content.

I've never watched Redfern, though I think it would be alright, going by the previews.

I do like Ticky Fullarton on "The Business". OH makes me watch it.

She knows what she's talking about and she knows what her interviewees are talking about.

Plus I like the way she wears her hair.

They should have dressed up in black face and maybe dropped some flour on Kamahl so he could be white.....much funnier things that entertain the right on the good old Nine Network!
