I'm going to attempt to go to the supermarket for the real Xmas food shopping, not just for milk. If there are no parking spaces I doubt I'll be able to buy everything I need at the local servo like last time.
I think I have PTSD from last time I tried to go to the supermarket.
Although, going to the servo gave me a giggle. I also bought a packet of cigs and the servo guy, in a very strong Indian accent asked me for my 'age proof' in a very stern voice. I had no idea what he said. I asked him to repeat it. "age proof". I had to ask him again to repeat it. I'm hopeless with accents. Then he grinned from ear to ear and I finally got the joke. I cracked up.

nor do i. it makes sense to avoid the popular shopping centres, like here for example; westfield booragoon or the city centre. you'd go to the outskirts if you just want to do your groceries to avoid the crowds
i shop at coles in gosnells, always seems relaxed there no matter what time of the year it is
mebbe some arent aware of whats happening in the outside world

I dont mind that one, its big! But, you have to hold your nose when going in and out the doors, man does it smell! And the car park is terrible.
I went to the shops tonight, had a few things to get, car park was packed, thought I was in for a really rough time and nearly went home, it was practically empty inside.

im not sure why theres a parking problem at coles but i always manage to get a spot without too much fuss

I survived Xmas shopping but I did have to drive around the whole car park twice to finally get a parking space. But once inside it wasn't that crowded. So where were all the owners of all the cars if not in the shopping centre?
That's a puzzlement. *shrugs*.
