If I decided to post 200 of them in the middle of every post I make ( there are no policy rules saying I can't do that), I would expect others to comment on that and perhaps they would ask me to stop doing that as it annoys them. I would take notice of those comments and cease doing it.

It's boring in your opinion, but others might not agree. Personally, I enjoy discussing politics and find the chitchat CS type threads boring.

I suspect many do enjoy the political threads and that's why they're routinely at the top of the page. If other types of threads were popular, they'd be at the top of the page.

Those that flood the threads with endless C & P's dont really care whether its annoying or not. Apparently all that matters is ebay policy, consideration for others doesnt seem to be any kind of priority.

Those of us that dont want to read them will have to continue to scroll endlessly.

having a go at ebay members for acting according to ebay's guidelines is crazy ..

imagine a whole group of members having a go at a buyer or seller for acting according to ebay's policies and using ebay and it's related services as ebay intends ?

They are popular because of the misinformation that is posted, things like Labor being wiped out in South Australia - that was both wrong and entertaining 🙂
