..... the content of most of the topics here is getting progressively sillier.

Crikey*Mate: you need to watch the whole program ...since some keep continuing it all over the place ...you need to search it all out and add it all up

NUTS!
that last post was in response to Crikeys 4th last post
I think
darnit, now I have lost count.
but while I'm here, I must say, the posting style that annoys me the most is the ones in the missing plane thread. All that large coloured font. I have no idea if it's quotes or what. I get completely bamboozled
(edited to include I must say, to stay on topic, you understand)

So true, one C & P is OK but reams and reams and then the innumerable nasty pictures to ram their point of view down your throat? totally agree, rude and finger pointing. Some just don't get it no matter how many hints are dropped.
you are being defamatory,
I'm incredibly sorry, but if I agree with you we would both be wrong.
There is not one Defamatory Statement in either of those posts.
It's OK crikey, thanks for that. ignore is my policy and also the sound advice given by the mods.

c&p ..such a little thing to get so obsessive and anti social about .
just a general remark..not directed at anyone .

Silverfaun , are you telling the whole board to ignore another member ?
I don't think the mods would be OK with that ?
or if they are they shouldn't be .
It's not inline with CS values
on โ23-03-2014 05:55 PM
maybe you will be OK though...judging from all that is visible to readers

Emoticons are allowed under ebay policy
If I decided to post 200 of them in the middle of every post I make ( there are no policy rules saying I can't do that), I would expect others to comment on that and perhaps they would ask me to stop doing that as it annoys them. I would take notice of those comments and cease doing it.
I must say I cried a little when people enunciated their objections to my liking fior red print when writing wiuthin quoted posts.
I like red.
It makes me happy.
But others voiced their objections, so
for reasons of self preservationout of respect for the greater community I now use blue. I think the sociologists call it conforming to accepted societal norms - belonging to and participatuing in a positive manner within a chosen community. Sometimes a person just has to curb their deepest desires and concede some points for the greater good. (Mill's Harm Principle)
and every time a little bit of me dies inside.
*sob*
go back to red, be happy - blue sucks
I'd love to, but as I said in the interests of self preservation the greater good.
It's ok now, I have overcompensated for the fact that not everyone enjoys my penchant for red. I have confined my liking for red to my personal domain where I can still attain pleasure from it but not annoy anyone else.
But oh dear, you don't like blue?
Would green be ok? It's just that some of the colours are hard to see, so I was just trying to use colours that really distinguished themselves from black....
What do I do now???
*cries*
(I don't like blue either, but apparently it is a calming colour - thought that might work to my advantage when commenting on other people's posts LOL)
