I thought he was asking for his right arm

ok today at work this chick comes in and says this guy at the front of the shop ( who is selling raffle tickets or something like that) asks for a chair because he dodn't have one , Boss of the store said no and so does this chick ... basically her attitude was he isn't buying anything  and I said you have got to be joking a chair .. there were like 10 spare in the tea room , I hope karma comes back at them for being heartless

He may have been deterring customers from entering the store..................... I avoid such persons myself.

I agree with Freddie, he should have brought his own chair (and small table) if he had permission to sell tickets outside this shop/business.
If he was lent a chair. At the end of his day, he could easily just pack up his stuff and take the chair with him.
