really gets up my nose IF I watch any news casts where a pollie is waffling away and they have a 'nodder' or two strategically placed behind them.....I don't listen to what the pollie has to say - so sorry, can't repeat any annoying phrases here other than the one I have already posted, that I've seen/heard of late!!
..........I concentrate on the nodders to see if they pull faces, blink, twitch....and count how many times they nod but tire quickly of this activity and either hit the 'off' button or 'flick' the channel

This (an occurence which is happening now) is Labor's fault and/or Kevin Rudd's, Julia Gillard's fault.
They are all doing it. A LNP MP on Q&A didn't even answer the viewers question, but he did put the blame for the issue on Labor.

Under Tony Abbott, political principles reach an all-time low
26 Feb
Tempting though it is, one of the things incoming governments don't do is delve into the affairs of their predecessor. The papers of the old government aren't made available to the new masters....
..The man who set new lows in negativity and obstructionism in opposition is now taking us to new lows in government.
We all see ourselves as more moral than the next person, but when challenged our defence is always: I'm no worse than he is. After all, he started it. Thus are our politicians locked in a race to the bottom. Rather than trying to counter our fear of foreigners, politicians have preferred to pander to it, vying to be the side whose mistreatment of asylum seekers goes so far it discourages any more from coming - all intended to dissuade them from risking their lives on a dangerous sea voyage, naturally.
So far have our standards sunk that we must now suffer the indignity of being lectured on human rights by the Chinese government.

I think they use it as a way to keep us in the dark and often it is not an operational matter.
Maybe I don't understand the difference between an operational matter and an error.
mmm, saying not doing. There is a big difference, it would be good if they could stop with the rubbish they say, but I suppose that would only leave total silence.

Saying things are operational matters when they aren't has probably caused these 4 whistleblowers to speak out, looks like a must watch show tonight
