If you wish to protest about Murdoch's involvment in the election...

There is an online peition you can sign:

"We, the undersigned, request that the Australian Press Council conduct an investigation into News Corp Australia’s media coverage of the 2013 Australian federal election campaign.

We also request that appropriate action is taken to prevent this from happening again in the future."

Who said they want to ban News Corp or Murdoch?

The complaint is about the biased coverage and opinion disguised as news.

Banned freedom of speech?
As stated, LNP will be banning reporting on boat arrivals...

Crikey was bought out by Murdoch (I wonder why?)

Oh and as far as opinion passed as fact goes, Murdoch went to court in the US so 'opinion' can be classed as fact.

If the media a want to complain about their 'freedom to report, maybe they should think back what they have done with these freedoms?

The collar bomb victim, yeah victim, was chased and videoed through her house windows by reporters. they approached her everyday to ask such insightful questions about how she is coping and able to get back to school and back to feeling normal.......al while chasing her with cameras and microphones.

Barbara Ramjan  who  revealed Abbott punched a wall  each side of  her head was branded by 'News ltd' and guest opinion  writer at the Time (Liberal powerbroker Michael kroger)  as a serial liar.

She won a case against the newspaper and Andrw Bolt's 2gb show  who had to publically apologise to her for defaming her and her story.

There is a difference between 'freedom of speech' and good taste and selective reporting.

Editors should be choosing the best stories rather than pushing an agenda and that includes fairfax .
