So please allow me to clarify, to the best of your knowledge, you made a post on a thread titled Tentacles of a Vendetta, and it appears that the words which you wrote in that post, somehow were changed after the fact without your consent or knowledge. Is that correct?

OK, some questions,

1) What date or time period do you believe that this occurred?

2) In the event that the post is different to what you wrote,  Are you positive that you, or somebody else to whom you gave permission to use your account did not change the post using an edit feature?

3) Is it possible that the initial post that you recall making violated site rules in some way requiring that it be modified by the administrators?

The question still remains though, how did a post made in my name in a private forum, end up being published on this site, by persons other than myself without my permission or knowledge?

not exactly. i didn't make a post, someone else did in my name

1.3/4 years ago, ( I can't be bothered checking exactly)

2. absolutely positive! I still have a copy of the post of the person saying  they did it, but not why they did it

3. absolutely not I would never violate a site policy (except maybe for here apparently  :^O)

Lol Deb...there were so many examples though wasn't there?...& so many victims in all directions.......I spent half the time trying to figure out who was friend or foe and you'd be amazed how many friends were in fact foes in sheeps' clothing (no pun intended) ...lol......best thing I ever did was sign off & stop wondering.

As for gardening, we've just spent the day stripping heat burnt branches from tree ferns and trying to get some moisture back into the garden.  Hotter than hell yesterday & you could literally hear the bush crackling.  Anything would have started a fire yesterday, even a good sneeze.

Thanks Deb, I was just seeing if what appears to have happened to you also happened to me. But the two occasions were years apart.

The posts made in my name in a private forum were published on the RTR thread here on eBay in the last 18 months by a member who regularly posts on that thread.

I guess the only question now is, is at what point were the post/s made/changed.
