I was of the understanding that this is a free, public forum and anyone can post on any thread they wish to, as much as they like.....

it is purple....funny how  some posters tell others off for saying stuff and then they  make a comment on pretty much the same thing themselves.

Nothing surprises me anymore.....

I was once chastised for my posting re a certain person on here......years ago now......and it made me realise what I was doing...... and I stopped myself continuing down that path because I didn't like what I saw....... but it seems that same person who chastised me, can't see the forest for the trees.

At the time I couldn't see the wrong in it.

I was recently told that a thread I did start was offensive (my deepest apologies again for that, cos it was not my intention), so why is that any different to someone being told that their post is offensive?

I wasn't even intruding on anyone else's thread, and it was a thread started by me, so not even off topic, nor intended to disagree with anyone else's view. I didn't even give an opinion, just asked a question.
