I posted about something similar last week... word was that Gillards office is actually doing this using people paid by the taxpayer... they are instructed to make accounts and go into groups and forums to "spy" on what the "other side" is doing and saying. 

strange as it may seem , there are plenty who keep an eye on lunatic fringe groups for their own reasons. its not just politicians concerned with the proliferation of loonies.. private citizens care too.

I can understand that monitoring social sites may be necessary.

 thanks poddy, Ronaldson. used to be member for ballarat until deposed. like a lot of old money people he had nothing else to do and had himself pre selected for the senate instead.

its unproven and untrue unless proven. if ronno said it its almost certainly fantasy.

See, now this is what I find silly.  Unproven does not necessarily mean untrue. It just means it is untested. I for one will be very interested in the outcome of the investigation.

well good for you. 😛  you ought to look to both sides of the house though , as liberal members who are paid taxpayers money had a large role in setting up some of the facebook gillard hater sites .
