A pint-sized superhero who saved the day in Sydney says if he could have any power in the world it would be the ability to heal.
When Domenic isn't dressed as Iron Boy in a red and gold metallic suit and battling arch nemesis Ultron to save the city, he spends his days battling cystic fibrosis.
The nine-year-old had his Make-A-Wish foundation dream come true by leading a top secret mission to rescue a damsel in distress.
NSW police lent helicopters, cars and speedboats to create the fantasy day, while Hollywood heavyweights Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth took to Twitter to support Iron Boy.
"Sent a very special boy on a top secret mission today. Go get em, Domenic!" - tweeted Downey Jr, who plays the Marvel character Iron Man.
Aussie actor Hemsworth, who graces the big screen as Thor, sent out a simple: "Go Dom!."
Domenic's mission kicked off on Thursday morning when a PolAir helicopter landed at a park near his home in Sydney's southwest asking for the little boy's help.
He was flown to Parramatta's state crime command where he was briefed by NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione and transformed into a mini superhero with a custom-built Iron Boy suit.
"Iron Boy, we need your help. Make-A-Wish reporter Hope Joy has been kidnapped. Officers have confirmed that Clark Island has been overtaken by Ultron's henchmen. And Hope Joy is being held captive. If I could make one wish it would be for you to help us Iron Boy," Mr Scipione told Domenic via video message in the "top secret" operations room.
After a showdown with Ultron on the Opera House steps, Iron Boy was awarded the Medal of Valour with the police commissioner thanking him for capturing "the very naughty villain".
Hundreds of Sydneysiders turned out to cheer Domenic with specially made on "Go Iron Boy!" signs.
Iron Boy said the best part of the day was having serious playground bragging rights when he goes back to school.
"My friends will be like 'wow dude, you're famous!'" he said.
