Speaking from a perspective based on personal experience  - No.

 

I wouldn't be too concerned until you realise  you are no longer able to publicly criticise your government.   I don't think you need to worry just yet. Smiley Happy

There are sign's that this is happening and has been for awhile, the bikie laws, mandatory sentencing and who can forget the so called "anti-terrorism legislation, the removal of the "spousal privilege, the right to remain in public spaces has been eroded, and in NSW the right to silence has also gone...........that's just to name a few.

we are rapidly being a dictatorship with many rights being removed like being able to protest without permission
