Is It Ok Use The Bathroom While Talking On The Phone?

I'm still on my soapbox about Sami and Yumi on the breakfast show. I swear if people didn't perform bodily functions like secks, labour, childbirth, peeing and pooping, farting, that pair would have nothing to talk about!

Like this morning.

Sami is in the ladies room fixing her hair when in walks her Melbourne colleague, Jane Hall, talking on the phone. She goes into the cubicle still talking. There is the unmistakable sound of tinkling and Jane is still talking when the sound of flushing the toilet is heard.

Sami is shocked and disgusted, she doesn't think it's appropriate to talk on the phone while using the 'loo.

Yumi, of course, thinks it's quite alright.

Two out of 5 callers thought it was disgusting, another 2 thought it was just multi-tasking at it's finest.

The 5th caller was Jane Hall :^O

I think it's disrespectful to the person on the other end, not to mention unhygienic.

I'm actually also shocked that Sami would out her colleague like that!

I would imagine people probably post in there too on their laptops

no one would know as no one in cyber space would be able to hear it :^O

No I don't and wouldnt, but I'm strange, if I go into the ladies with another person, once the cubicle door closes, conversation pauses and resumes at the hand basin. LOL

And if people think that the person on the other end of the line doesn't know, then they are mistaken - I have 2 people that do this to me and I can tell straight away that they are in the bathroom cause there is a slight echo like quality when they talk.

One of the people that does it to me is a male client. It seems that every time he's on the phone to me, he has to go to the loo.

Well, I know he's holding the phone in one hand. But what is happening in the other hand? 😐

I have taken the phone to the bath with me , when I 've been expecting a call, but that's all

I do, but ONLY when on the phone with my husband. If it rings when I am in the loo, never answer it.
