Is The Insiders Irrelevent.

The ratings for the Insiders are on a downward trend & have been for the better part of a year. If this was any other channel it would have been axed months ago.

This Sunday we were served up the misogyny of Nikki Savva by the males on the panel & Cassidy.

Since Sky, Meet The Press, Richo & many other political programs are popular & more balanced it's looking more & more biased at the ABC & the ratings show it.

The flood of emails that this program receives re it's left bias does not seem to be heeded & let's not even mention Q & A & Tony Jones.

I hope the Conservatives sweep the groupthink clean & finally do something about public broadcaster's bias, we deserve better.

You only need to watch the ABC to know that they use a range of presenters including LNP members, IPA reps and News Corp employees.

You think it's a fair assumption but it's based on a myth. The ABC is not a left wing group think. Peter Reith would love to be included in that left wing groupthink (whatever that is), and Alexander Downer too, yeah sure.

No, what I get sick of is your assumption that I trot out other peoples lines. I posted my own opinion & I don't resort to the endless c & p you go to prop up your argument.

A civil reply is not too much to ask for on here but apparently not from some. It's game over  for many on here who are so rabid in their defence of anything Labor to the detriment of sounding rational.

If you haven't been on the end of Little Tony Windsor's bitter attacks then I suppose you don't notice it.

He's eaten up with bitterness & hatred of all things Liberal & National & every time he utters something about them its verballing or something he can't corroborate about Abbott & Barnaby Joyce.

I's not just me who has commented on it but that's how he is & it's so obvious I'm surprised you missed it.

I'm not going to get into a "prove it" or "supply links" mentality, it's my opinion & I'm entitled to it.

I have missed Insiders for the past two weeks due to work... once upon a time I use to go and watch it on Iview or catch the rerun... or record it.. but now I can't be bothered... 

As for ABC being biased... not all shows are but many have become very much so.... the ABC is not allowed to be one sides... reason being is that it is paid for by our taxes... all people need to be respected and all points of view put forward and accepted... 

Insiders is a left biased show and I find it tiresome... 

Unlike private TV networks... they can show whatever they like... Bolt Report for example, right wing, your choice to watch it. If people watch it and the ratings go up they make even more money from the advertisers...

the ten network is losing money hand over fist with the bolt report. the music program they axed to put it on initially was one of their few good earners.. i see they came out and tried to fob it all off on 'being michael clarks ex' and the shire. they were quiet about the cost of losses incurred putting bolt on the air. gina r pledged to pay the loss out of her own pocket.  the other shareholders are still waiting for that to happen.

interesting they say that insiders garbage is left wing, it looks all murdoch and no substance to the left. i'd br happy to see it axed too.

And be replaced by:  Survivors Canberra.

WR roll with the perceived punches and observe,  there is no need to take the line of  one or two here and shoot (axe) the messenger.

I actually reason that any TV program that is not in the weekly top 10  favourites must have something going for it, and I feel quite worried if I have watched one of the 10 favourites during a week.

Whether you are Cyclopian or Myopian, you have to admit that after Insiders, Inside Business is certainly worth watching.
