The question is, should government influence our education systen?
When governmet says it wants the same opertunities for every child is it really saying that it wants uniformity in education , such as what is being taught and how it is being taught.?
Is it better to have diversity in education as to what and how kids are educated?

I am trying to highlight the fact that governments are steering young kids into believing what they want them to belive and setting up the ftructure to achieve that end.
You are highlighting your opinion, nothing more than that.

Which Government?
What country - Australia or many other countries as well|
How long has the Govt been doing this (steering young kids into belieiving what they wan them to believe) What year did they start by setting up the structure to acheive this?
Is this thread about educational reform or greenhouse gas?

That's the idea of the funding reforms isn't it?
So that every child has access to the curriculum and the support to progress through it at their level with appropriate resources to cater to their learning needs.
It may be the idea, but both politicians and the general public determine what a good education is based upon policy documents, without taking the wide variety of other factors into consideration.
Unfortunately, there is more to an equal and just education for all children that that which is prescribed in the current policy documents.
