Is ignorance the new thing?

seems to be the less some people know about a subject the more they have to say on it.

Is ignorance the new thing?

Perhaps you may wish to be more specific.

Having lunch today with a group of people and a medical thing came up, when I was asked what I thought I said I had nothing to say because I'm not a Dr and had no knowledge of the subject, she got really annoyed although all her "knowledge" had come from google.

Could have been worse Boris - she could have got all her 'knowledge' from the CS boards.

Looking at some of the 'contributions' she would not be on her own Robot wink

Yes, I have noticed that. It amuses me, especially when asked where they got their info from, and they reply "you google it!"

If they know what they are talking about they should be easily be able to say where they got their info/facts from.

Example: The Queensland premier has accused the Labor party of accepting donations from bikies but when asked for evidence has told journalists to โ€œGoogle itโ€.

If he knows that assertion to be true, surely he could tell the reporters who told him that /where he found it.

Who Campbell Newman? I agree, he is Premier of Queensland, he shouldn't be responding to valid questions like a child.
