Is immigration good for us?

Considering tony & julia are  English immigrants what do you think.?

 in Melbourne, there were numerous training colleges which were not supplying an education, but a visa rort.

come here, study at one of these colleges, and apply for permanent residency, where money for visa promises was paid.

It wasn't the students who were rorting the system, it was the colleges that were ripping off the students.

The student - or rather their parents-  handed over the money in the belief that they were going to do a proper course and get their qualifications. you can't get qualifications if you haven't been properly taught.and you can't get a visa without qualifications.

The great she elephant, the whole thing came unstuck when an unhappy "student" did not receive his visa...

his parents were clearly, and publicly, paying for their son to live here.

Theres whole suburbs in Victoria where the migrant population has never worked from 5 years up to 12 years unemployed.

This creates a permanent underclass full of resentment. See France and Britain.

Just think if it wasn't for the Migrants the only take away we would be having would be Fish and Chips.
