I'm not even going to bother with a Poll as it usually gets bombarded with folk who have multiple I.D's to secure the poll in their favour.

I mean seriously, these select posters and we all know to whom I am referring need to be stopped. All this SPAM about the Liberal Party is becoming a nuisance.

Our local media site used to be a really friendly, well populated forum.  Just for once we thought we had a community heart beat that local Pollies were taking notice of.

Then came the right wing troll brigade.....groan....They spammed the site with nastiness and when the format changed to include a 'dislike' button, they used that to troll everyone else who didn't happen to agree with them

Well it didn't take long for everyone else to stop posting altogether, and these days it's more like a desert.   People get sick of the droning = it kills the conversation.

So yes....I do believe both parties have their paid trolls but the right is way nastier than the left.

I agree with you LL, however you have left out (no pun intended) the mindless indoctrinated types: " I have always voted for  XXXXXXXX," or, "I will never vote for XXXXXXXXX"and of course the hip pocket: vote for Hunny  types.

I haven't seen any nastiness from Cat but then I've only been participating on here on & off for a short time.

I like cats posts, they are usually calm & to the point. Raking up old emnitites is a very nasty thing to do because it leaves the person with no defence against such a slur. The old posters should move on & leave the past in the past.

Also, trying to shut down certain posters for their political views is disgraceful & an attack on the community spirit.

If you don't like, then don't read.

Not sure why you are quoting my conversation with cats in your reply - I may be frowning at cat but she knows I'm not attacking her in any way. I may disagree with her a lot but I  like cats too and I am not raking up any old anything.

no I don't grow my own... I buy them from the side of the road... $1 or $2 each.. but this one was given to me.. 

I bought watermelons two days ago... two for $5...

Not so many these days. I think all the anti government posters are too fed up & are just plain tired of all the incompetence, just biding their time till the election.

Arguing all day long with laborites trying to defend their beloved labor is just not worth it.
