A credible source (other than Twitter) would be appreciated FN for this statement:
""We would be crazy to stop it's build now and that is exactly what the LNP plan to do"
I repeat that it would be appreciated FN, not a promotional presentation from 2010 (2010 FN?) by an entrepreneur Masayoshi Son of Softbank Corporation, who has profits in mind before philanthropy/politics.
FN, You obviously have not bothered to listen to all of what you consider a credible source (a commercial proposal ??), because after the initial address the first question asked of Masayoshi Son (paraphrased) mentioned the ALP plan to deliver FTTP at a cost of $42Bn to 90% of the Australian population and what did he think of the ALP plan? The answer:-
"it is a waste, a stupid solution, it is a stupid solution.....a common sense solution is to maintain a metal and overlay with fibre so a 2 layer of the network..."
So much for your reference FN.
What was it that DY wrote: " Chuckle back to you " I agree.

No I didn't Could you please point out the time in the video where the reference to the LNP will scrape the NBN is at. Or maybe some other reference. I cannot find any evidence to this claim.
I said you'll find the answer to the crazy part of the question in there.
Considering it is a 3 year old video ......

You obviously did not listen to what he said in it's entirety. He said it is stupid to keep the metal. So a 2 layer network that needs 2 layers of maintenance is the stupid waste.
It's a waste, a stupid solution.... listen to the whole presentation. He talks a lot about the stupidity of keeping the metal instead of replacing the lot with fibre.
You should know I post people with knowledge not political bias. Listen to what he says about keeping metal and fibre. Listen to what he says about wireless. He is in the mobile business after all so if he's biased you'd think it would be to mobile technology.

Where does it say LNP will scrap the NBN? That is the question.

He does FN, but not when specifically asked about Australia's NBN, and it is incorrect (deliberately?) to attempt to insinuate that his comments then apropos using metal refers to
the Australian NBN, because it certainly does not
The commercial presentation (3 years old) by Masayoshi Son, of Softbank Corporation when asked what he specifically thought of the Australian NBN rollout said:
""it is a waste, a stupid solution, it is a stupid solution.....a common sense solution is to maintain a metal and overlay with fibre so a 2 layer of the network...""
Son, when addressing metal/fibre limitations certainly mentions corrosion, and the need to migrate from 2 layer networks to single, but that was then for countries other than Australia, and he was generally considering Japan in his presentation.
FN: "You should know I post people with knowledge not political bias" !!! how about commercial bias?
Manipulating excerpts to suit your point of view is at the very best disingenuous.
Back to the main point FN, as WUB asks: "Where does it say LNP will scrap the NBN? That is the question."

No John, you are not taking in the context of the answer, or listening in the entirety, or something.
After this answer Telstra came on board and the decommissioning plan was announced.
He is talking about it being stupid to keep the two layers when the cost of the copper is so high to maintain because of it's age. He goes on to say that the cost is too high. He says most countries take the wrong approach in trying to maintain both. "If 100% replace with fibre then loss goes away."

"No John, you are not taking in the context of the answer, or listening in the entirety, or something."
I am quoting the complete answer FN to the 1st question, and totally in context, which was solely in reference to Australia's NBN rollout and its cost, wherein Masayoshi Son replied:
"it is a waste, a stupid solution, it is a stupid solution.....a common sense solution is to maintain metal and overlay with fibre so a 2 layer of the network..." (reference 36.39 et al) After this he addresses single layer networks and "rusting" but not in context to the Australian NBN.
However, I will be happy to entertain a time reference to what you allege, also a reference to this other quote of yours:
"We would be crazy to stop it's build now and that is exactly what the LNP plan to do"

In the context of when the NBN was going to be built along side the old network. Before the Telstra deal. You noted the date.

Still waiting FN for a reference to this other quote of yours:
"We would be crazy to stop it's build now and that is exactly what the LNP plan to do"
FN: "In the context of when the NBN was going to be built along side the old network. Before the Telstra deal. You noted the date."
Note this FN (before the presentation in 2010)
" 2009 when the Rudd government announced it would build fibre all the way to homes and offices, bypassing Telstra's copper monopoly"
I am sure Masayoshi Son would have added another "stupid" to his comments if he knew the NBN were going to pay Telstra to close the copper network and shut down 2 perfectly good HFC networks.
After the commercial presentation John Boyd, a Tokyo-based technology and science journalist wrote:-
"Given SoftBank’s lack of investment in infrastructure, I think Son’s plan is more about improving SoftBank’s business situation rather than a vision to improve Japan’s international competitiveness"
Repeat: Still waiting FN for a reference to this other quote of yours:
"We would be crazy to stop it's build now and that is exactly what the LNP plan to do"
