Hello, Sanyo 14.0 Mega Pixels Digital Camera with a 4xOptical Zoom Lens, 5.05-20.2mm EQ 28-112mm 1:2.8.6.3
l do not know what the last lot of figures mean after the 4x Optical Zoom, l am an older pensioner, so unlikely to afford a much better Digital Camera, unless the dollars were right here on ebay. But if recommened l might be able to upgrade.
My problem is that l am not happy Jan, with the outcome of photos that l have taken of items l wish to sell here on ebay.
Either the Focus is not right, l may not have the light coming in from the correct position, and what should l be doing after dark to take shots of items in say my kitchen or living room. Just not happy all round, l am doing something wrong, but do not know what. Yes, my camera has Flash, but rarely do l see it activate.
If l wanted to take a photo of a 1925 Australian Penny, how close or far away from the coin should my camera be ?
Can some kind person direct me in the right path, so that l can see the light. Thank you in advance. Dale.

Sorry-cant help with the camera problems.
The 1925 Aust penny is one of the rarest--make sure the date shows up
in the pic............................Richo...

Don't sell a 1925 penny on ebay....take it to the experts or auction it is a specialist coin auction.

The last numbers indicate the equivalent zoom parameters of the camera's lens, most likely at 0 zoom and 4x zoom.
Not being familiar with this particular camera, I have no recommendations for macro shots.

These give you an idea of how to take photos.

Hi,
Sometimes it is far easier to scan an item, i.e. a penny or note or the bottom of a vase or even an item is just laid flat on a scanner and covered with a black towell to stop light from seeping in, you get a better picture. If you scan, scan the object / penny / note or whatever at 300 dpi for good results.
I have done this with many items I wanted to send a picture of to friends. I have even done it for pictures on t-shirts.
Good luck.

I can't help you with the camera zoom function, but;
I can help you to post text which is large enough to be legible.
Before you type, click on "Font Sizes" and select a larger number; say, 4, for example.
