Should also point out that the function was hosted by Auburn Council and Mr Invisible was invited by the Mayor, who is Liberal.
The audience was made up of Liberal supporters and local property developers.
News cameras weren't allowed to film the function (in case he put his foot in his mouth I suppose) so were only able to film him outside as he arrived and as he left.
That's probably why you didn't see much on the news.

A Leader of the Opposition standing up giving a speech (pre written most likely) to a small selected crowd of their own supporters is a lot different from the Leader of the Oppostion having a live debate with the Prime Minister. Also different i to when a politician speaks at a pubic gathering where any member of the public is allowed to attend, hecklers and all.

Maybe because he never said anything, bit like Abbott.
But, he used to say: "don't you worry about that............" really well. I am just waiting for TA start saying that when pushed to say how he will turn the boats around.
