Is there a valid reason why Abbott won't debate Rudd tonight?

I thought he said he would once the election was called.

Makes him look a bit weak.

If someone is ahead, then someone must be trailing !

1 poll is not 'ahead' especially a poll like 'newspoll' which has been regularly offset by others. newspoll seems to release with the 'newscycle' ..convenient that.

Some people thought Sir Joh was a good speaker.

Maybe because he never said anything, bit like Abbott.

He will when the time is right and KR has made to many unfullfillable promises that TA can dispute and give his alternative policies which are affordable.

He said that he was going to a post Ramadam function ...last night ?

Has anyone seen any news of this function he was to attend last night  ?

You would expect him to use it to promote himself wouldn't you  ?

I am quite sure if the labor party was offered donations from any direction it would take it without any hesitation so don't preach about the NLP taking donations.

Same as many LP people running Rupert Murdoch down for supporting the NLP (called jealousy), if he supported the LP they would be ecstatic and be glad of any favourable press.

Don't talk about a pansyboi (as you put it) have you listened and watched KR giving a speech, if he flicks his hair and purses his lips one more time before he ZIPS away to kiss another BUB I will puke.

You really need to read more than cs....

It has been on the news, radio and TV both last night and this morning...

You have to be quick though as they don't like to post positive things about Tony Abbott in the news.... all they have is 30 second grabs so they want to make it more about sensational stuff.....  He was very well received from what I heard and  people there were very impressed.

Iza - there was a huge double spread in the Telegraph today of Mr Invisible at the function.

They reported his speech about how he supported freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
