A ceramic water purifier is good, I have one in my kitchen, replace the stone filter about every 3 months, tastes fine, better than the tap.

if my water supply was not good id prolly buy a generic bottled water too, those big bottles that sit on the kitchen counter.

its the twits that buy 'genuine swiss mountain water' (or the heaps of similar) cos they think its really 'special' that get me.

there is no requirement by these companys to prove the water comes from a swiss mountain as far as i know, could come from a garden tap on the back wall of a swiss piggery for all i know. if its even from switzerland.

so many believe the picture on the label.

if things had to be exactly as advertised mcdonalds would go out of business.

I buy bottled water to drink 'cause the town water here tastes foul, I also have a water tank which I could pump to the house but I prefer to use the water for the garden  .....I dont buy fresh milk, neither of us drink it, so I wouldn't have a clue how much it costs to buy

We buy water for the same reason,(the tap water is un drinkable and can't be filtered).

I drink it "straight" as I don't drink tea,coffee or cordial,(and I don't drink milk)

We too had lousy tap water a few years ago. We have our own Reserve, no river or lake water. The whole district complained and even our Doctors joined. The Council installed a new filter system, had the water tested and it is clear and clean now. Testing is done on a regular basis so no more complaints.

It is not only milk drinkers that are affected. Where do you think all other milk products will come from when there is no more fresh milk available?

I give up trying to reason.

Same here go-tazz, filtering doesnt make any difference, it still tastes foul

Lind I live in the bush, so I am fully aware of where dairy products come from, I just cant see what buying bottled water has to do with it?
